Classic Filmage

Last night, the gf and I sat down to a plate of Lean Cuisine Skillet Sensations and Bird's Eye frozen veggies, while viewing the second half of Vice Versa. I hadn't seen the film in over 5 years and was more than pleased to see how well it held up, since it was released in 1988. As per the review on the packaging, Big came out around the same time and Mr. Hanks was clearly the bigger box office draw. However, this film created laughs from both Savage and Reinhold, as opposed to just a single character who was made into an adult.

There is a terrific scene where young Savage (as his dad and perpetually drinks martinis) and his mom walks into his dad's crib and sees young Fred with the glass of ill-repute. His reaction is a cheerful, "Shit, what are YOU doing here?". Mom was less than thrilled with both his response as well as his choice of nourishment. I love it!!
