I don't get it
With the recent MacWorld announcement of the iPhone, Jobs has combined a number of the tech items that many enjoy. No more separate iPod, MP3 player and Palm pilot. They are all in one. Albeit a $500 price tag and a necessary Cingular contract, but you are all in. So, that's really great. Pretty much a Tre smartphone with a massive SD card. Oh yeah, the classic iPod interface. But that's not what I don't understand.
It's more about the iPod Video - where is the update? Creative has their Vision W, iRiver has one, RCA, and Archos. My pick however is the Cowon A2, which is Divx certified and has some killer battery life. So the "new" iPod Video can match the battery life, but they're still using the puny screen. Ick. Let's get going guys. And how about some Divx certification? I'm not about to convert my entire video library to this funky format. Kick it into high gear, Mr. Turtleneck.
